Description of content: This Technical regulation is intended for manufacturers, importers, authorized representatives and other people responsible for placing on the market of simple pressure vessels, fire resistant, manufactured in series, whose internal pressure exceeds 0.5 bar and which are designed to contain air or nitrogen. Additionally, it establishes marketing conditions, technical requirements, the essential safety requirements and conformity assessment methods depending on the value of the product. Also, it stipulates that certified products must contain the CE mark.

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable: The purpose of this Technical Regulation is to ensure that simple pressure vessels placed on the market fulfil the necessary requirements in order to provide a higher level of health protection and safety of consumers.
