　　Abstract: This paper describes the difference of detection methods and limits for Listeria monocytogenes at home and abroad and introduces the current application and problems of rapid detection technology of Listeria monocytogenes. The overview of the progress of rapid detection of microorganisms in China is presented in this paper. Meanwhile, this paper discusses the future development trend of rapid detection technology of Listeria monocytogenes. This paper has a certain significance for Listeria monocytogenes inspection and development of rapid detection technology in China.
