1. Delisting the following products from the List of Product under Mandatory Certification:
a. Ceramic tiles
b. Plywood
c. Flat glass
d. Common nails
e. GI sheetsf.
f. The Performance and Labelling Standards of the following:
i. Self-ballasted lamps
ii. Single-capped fluorescent lamps
iii. Double-capped fluorescent lamps
iv. Magnetic and electronic ballasts
2. One year validity of test reports from the date of issue
3. Mandatory markings/labels on the delisted products

Objective and rationale, including the nature of urgent problems where applicable:
· Enhance ease of doing business by removing some products under mandatory product certification and recognition of the validity of test reports to a number of products
· Protection of human health and safety through mandatory product labels/marks in accordance to relevant Philippine National Standards
