Description of content: Draft Law of Ukraine amends the Law of Ukraine as of 22 September 2005 No. 2899-IV "On prevention and reduction of tobacco use and its harmful impact on public health".

The main aim of the Draft is to ensure a high level of protection of public health, especially of young people, fulfillment of commitments of Ukraine under the WHO's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) on struggle against tobacco.

Draft Law approximates laws and regulations to EU requirements on:

·         Ingredients and products of allocation of tobacco products, including maximum levels of tars, nicotine and carbon monoxide in cigarette's smoke

·         Labelling and packaging of tobacco products including health warnings, which should be placed on packets of tobacco products and outside packaging

·         Regulation of certain products related to tobacco, such as electronic cigarettes and herbal products for smoking

·         Completely prohibition of advertisement of tobacco products in the Internet
