Description of content: The following paragraphs of the existing Mandatory Standard, SI 60227 part 1, dealing with polyvinyl chloride insulated cables of rated voltage up to and including 450/750V, shall be declared voluntary:
· Paragraph 3.1.b. dealing with the requirement to mark the manufacturing year;
· Paragraph 3.201 dealing with the requirement to mark the manufacturing year.
These requirements were not in line with the requirements of Israel Standards Law for mandatory standards.
