2014年12月9日，美國服裝及鞋類產(chǎn)品安全協(xié)會(huì)(AAFA)在孟加拉國首都達(dá)卡舉行的美國國際產(chǎn)品安全、工人安全及供應(yīng)鏈符合性會(huì)議上發(fā)布了最新受限物質(zhì)清單，其中增加的受限化學(xué)物質(zhì)鄰苯二甲酸二異己酯、氯化鎘、硼酸鈉，硼酸及鈉鹽、過硼酸鈉(無水)都涉及到紡織服裝、鞋、旅行用品、家用紡織品和其它時(shí)尚配件。另外清單中移除了六氯環(huán)己烷，此類物質(zhì)可能對(duì)紡織品影響比較小。

為了提高受限物質(zhì)清單(RSL)的功能性和實(shí)用性，AAFA創(chuàng)建了AAFA移動(dòng)客戶端供用戶免費(fèi)下載使用。通過此客戶端用戶能對(duì)將近200種受限化學(xué)品進(jìn)行過濾、查找和分類。
